Bernardi one step away from the points zone in last race of 2022 season


CM Racing's 2022 season has officially come to an end, taking to the track today for Race 2 at the #phillipisland track. Among the Australian ups and downs #lucabernardi once again gave it his all, finishing 16th.
 
Starting well from his starting spot, the San Marino rider had to deal with the usual bagarre at the beginning of the race, but then started his comeback. Having reached 16th position during the seventh lap, Luca tried to close the gap with the riders in front of him, but had to be content with finishing the race just a step away from the points zone.
 
Today's race concludes the CM #racing Team's 2022 season. The team would like to thank Ducati and all the partners who have supported it throughout the year, and is now ready to work with momentum towards 2023.

Luca Bernardi: "Today I made a pretty good start, even though I was taken off the ideal line in turn one. Over the course of the race I made up positions, although compared to yesterday I struggled a little more with the bike, probably due to the short time I had with really dry track. I really thank the #cmracingteam for the opportunity given to me at this end of the season".
 
Manuel Cappelletti (Team Director): "It has been a difficult season, in which the hoped-for results have not arrived. In any case, I want to thank all the guys for their effort, which certainly deserved a greater reward”.
