Encouraging three days of testing for the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team at Andalucia Circuit

The three-day test held by the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team at the Andalucia Circuit ended with a smile, where the good weather facilitated the team and rider to complete their work program without complications.

After a first day useful to take the first steps together, team and rider began to work on the setup of their Yamaha YZF-R6, looking for the most useful solutions to make Debise, already a profound connoisseur of the Japanese bike, comfortable. On the third and final day the Frenchman was able to obtain interesting times, thus obtaining the first reassurances about his speed.

With this three-day test over, the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team is now ready to continue working in its racing department, before flying to Australia. Here in fact they will first stage (19 - 20 February) the last winter tests, then it will be time (the following weekend) to officially start the 2024 season.

Valentin Debise
"It was a useful test, in many ways. Initially I had to take the measurements of the bike and the team, trying to give the indications as clearly as possible and to listen fully to the advices. Day after day the performance improved, working on many different aspects of the bike. I've managed to find a good setup and set good times: now we're waiting for the tests at Phillip Island, where we'll sort out the last details in view of the debut".

Mauro Pellegrini (Technical Director)
"We are satisfied with what we have collected in these three days. After the first approach at Jerez this was the first test with Valentine, and the responses were positive: the times were interesting, both on the single lap and on the pace, and in terms of working methodology we immediately took the right way. It's too early to understand what our level is, but we're off to a good start and that's very important".
