With the motto “#MoveToTransform,” #siemens will have an appearance at IAA #mobility 2021, which this year is taking place in the Bavarian capital for very first time. As a focused technology company, #siemens will present a holistic view of the #mobility of today and the future. The focus is not only on connecting the real and digital worlds, but also on promoting dialogue between visionaries, organizations and companies. With its very own IAA Studio, #siemens aims to contribute actively to the discussions surrounding the #mobility of the future.
The IAA Studio will open on Tuesday, September 7, at 10:30 a.m. at the Ludwig Ferdinand Palais at the Wittelsbacherplatz in #munich. During the one-hour event, participants will receive an overview of the three days of planned events as well as all information about the #MoveToTransform campaign. The kick-off event will be rounded off with an exchange on the role of people in innovation and technology in the fields of #mobility and infrastructure. For this first event, the IAA Studio welcomes Lynette Jackson, Head of Communications at Smart Infrastructure, Dr. Nari Kahle, author of the book “Mobility on the Move” and Head of Strategic Programs at CARIAD SE, and Christophe Marnat, Executive Vice President – Electronics and Advanced Driver Assist Systems Division at ZF Group
The individual sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will cover topics ranging from autonomous vehicles and the transformation of the #automotive industry, to whether electrification is the only option going forward for the #automotive industry, and what fast charging options for electric trucks are. Furthermore, we will host a discussion on how intelligent solutions in road traffic make our cities more livable, with a special focus on road users facing #mobility challenges in their daily lives.
We will also take a look at the importance of digitalization for #mobility today and how MaaS (Mobility as a Service) platforms and apps make it easier for travelers to access #mobility options. And will be presenting the world’s first augmented-reality workshop solution. Also on the agenda: First and last-mile #mobility solutions and the future potential offered by state-of-the-art AI and Deep-Learning technologies. Those who wish to attend may register here: iaa-studio.siemens-events.com.The number of spots available for physical attendance are limited due to the current pandemic and are subject to a strict hygiene concept.
