A crash condemns Kofler and CM Racing Team in Race 2 at Most

Unlucky Sunday for the #cmracingteam, which had to deal with the retirement - due to a crash - of #maximiliankofler in #most. A negative end to the weekend for the Roman team, after a weekend of growth.

After the warm up in the morning, where the team had to deal with some minor technical problems, Race 2 got underway at 12.30. Kofler again made a sensational start, which led him to 9th place at the end of the first lap. As the race went on, Max tried to hold on to his position, only to crash in turn 21 on lap eight, which brought an early end to his race.

After the #most weekend, CM #racing will be back on track in over a month: the next round will take place from 9 to 11 September, on the French track of Magny - Cours.

Race 2 Results #CZEWorldSBK
P1 - Lorenzo Baldassarri (Yamaha)
P2 - Nicolò Bulega (Ducati)
P3 - Stefano Manzi (Triumph)
P4 - Can Oncu (Kawasaki)
P5 - Bahattin Sofuoglu (MV Agusta)
RIT - #maximiliankofler (CM #racing Team, Ducati)

Maximilian Kofler: "Unfortunately today didn't go as I had hoped. After a good start I tried to stay in the points zone, but a crash ended my race. We had a weekend of growth, which we have to build on for the second part of the season".

Manuel Cappelletti (Team Director): "Max did well at the start, recovering many positions, but unfortunately a crash put him out of the race. Now we have to continue working, in order to present ourselves at Magny - Cours in the best conditions: we have a second part of the season ahead of us in which we will try to take some satisfaction".
