Plug in Digital and SUNSOFT have great news! The Nintendo Switch version of Ikki Unite, the legendary Hall of Famer of bad games, is finally AVAILABLE on NINTENDO SWITCH.

Ikki Unite is based on the original "Ikki," (also known in Western countries as Boomerang or Farmers Rebellion), already a shooter back in the day, the 1985 game is the true ancestor of today's "horde survivor" games.

Once dubbed "Kusoge" or literally in English: "shitty game," the Ikki Unitefranchise reappears like a phoenix with a real dose of self-mocking, a lot of provocation, and a real multiplayer challenge straight from the genius minds at SUNSOFT.

A genius idea ?

"I was playing Vampire Survivors and other similar games, and I intuitively felt that this style of game would fit well with Ikki. But that didn't seem like enough. At the time, people made fun of the Famicom version of Ikki by saying that it would take more than one or two people to successfully stage a revolution. That's what prompted me to make the game multiplayer. It was a way to respect the original, by doing what the original couldn't do at the time" Ina, Project Director and Programmer at SUNSOFT.
