MTM Kawasaki to lineup Loris Veneman and Mirko Gennai for 2024 World Supersport 300 title challenge

After getting its third FIM Supersport 300 World Championship with Jeffrey Buis and the fourth Team Championship, #mtmkawasaki Team is pleased to announce the renewal of 17 year old dutch #lorisveneman – top rookie of the 2023 World Supersport 300 season – who will be joined by Italian #mirkogennai, one of the most experienced rider in the field who will switch to Kawasaki with the target to fight for the title.

MTM Kawasaki Team, after securing its third riders’ championship in the World Supersport 300 category, is already focused on next year and the Belgian team – supported by Kawasaki – is pleased to announce today its new lineup for the 2024 FIM Supersport 300 World Championship, with #lorisveneman who will continue the journey with the team after a very strong first year and will be joined by the 7th most successful rider in the history of WorldSSP300, Italian #mirkogennai, who will start his first year with #mtmkawasaki Team.

After a very strong first season in the field, #lorisveneman will start his second year with the clear target to be one of the top riders of the category, having won a race and scored a podium in his first year in the World Supersport 300 Championship. The young dutch made an impressive growth during the season, becoming one of the fastest rider in the last part of the season, in which he helped his teammate Jeffrey Buis on his title challenge, as well as the team to secure its fourth teams title.

On the other hand, #mirkogennai will start his first year with #mtmkawasaki Team, as the 20 year-old Italian will switch from his previous team and brand after 4 years, joining Kawasaki and MTM for 2024 campaign. The Italian is one of the most experienced rider in the category, with 60 race starts, together with 4 wins and 10 podiums, as Mirko will enter in 2024 his fifth season as permanent rider in World Supersport 300.

After completing the 2023 World Supersport 300 triple crown – with riders, manufacturers and teams championship won – #mtmkawasaki Team, with the support of Kawasaki Europe and all its historical partners, is ready to start the 2024 challenge with a very strong lineup, big targets and the aim to retain the title for one more year.

Ludo Van Der Veken: “I’m really happy to welcome back for one more season #lorisveneman and welcome #mirkogennai into our team. It has been an easy choice to confirm Loris, we had a very strong rookie season together, we love to work with him and we couldn’t be happier to continue this journey together. My target is to do a lot of training during the winter, #racing also some races in other series when possible in order to keep trained and try to give my best to be always on top in the World Championship. Mirko Gennai: “I’m extremely happy to start a new adventure in green, after four years I felt it was time to change and start a new path with multiple World Championship won as #mtmkawasaki Team is. I’m highly motivated to be in the best team of the category and for sure this will give me the extra motivation to start the Championship in the best way. I’ll give my 110% as usual and surely i twill be a very competitive 2024.
