Daniël Reintjes hands over the CEO position of Christiaan van der Klaauw astronomical watches to Pim Koelslag.

Christiaan van der Klaauw Astronomical Watches is proud to announce today that #danielreintjes, after 14 years as CEO, hands over the baton to the new CEO, Pim Koeslag.
Under the leadership of #danielreintjes, Christiaan van der Klaauw has developed into a globally known brand of watches with unique astronomical complications and numerous successful innovations have been introduced that have won international awards. He developed the company into the only watch brand in the world that specializes entirely in the design and production of exclusive, handmade astronomical watches. Also, an extremely successful partnership has been entered into with the famous jewelry house Van Cleef & Arpels, Christiaan van der Klaauw Astronomical Watches has joined the prestigious list of the FHH Haute Horlogerie and has won the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) in 2021.

Daniël Reintjes will continue his role as Creative Director and will remain responsible for the designs of the watches. As a co-shareholder of Christiaan van der Klaauw, he also forms the Managing Board of CVDK together with Pim Koeslag and Maria Reintjes. With his persistent creativity and passion for astronomical watches, he will continue to contribute to the development of Christiaan van der Klaauw Astronomical Watches.

Pim Koeslag, who already took a majority stake in Christiaan van der Klaauw Astronomical Watches last year and has more than 20 years of experience in the international watch industry, will take over the role of CEO with great pleasure and confidence. Christiaan van der Klaauw has great ambitions, and under his leadership these are in good hands. With this CEO change, Christiaan van der Klaauw has guaranteed continuity and can continue to develop and grow.
