Maison CHAPAL presents ten new winter silhouettes in a new mix of materials and styles

CHAPAL is moving towards an elegant mixed collection where wool and velvet add a more streetwear dimension to the leather jackets that have made the Maison's reputation.

The brand is renowned for its luxury leather jackets often inspired by the Automotive and Air Force history.

This winter, it offers other alternatives by turning away from its original materials and working with knitted and boiled wool, which becomes an essential element of this collection. Its matt appearance contrasts with the shine of the tannery's patinated leather.
The boiled wool is found on the PILOT PANTS, USAAF jackets, CARDIGANS or PONCHOS.
True to its philosophy of sustainable production, #chapal chooses Merino sheep raised in the French Pyrénées mountains for their wool, which is afterwards treated and knitted in #france.

- The PANTS are made of velvet fabric, raw Red Selvedge or stretch denim - faded or reversed finishes -
the denim being sourced from Japan and Italy.

- The glossy leather lace-up ankle SIMONE BOOTS are made from vegetal tanned leather,
with hand-stitched leather uppers and soles.

- The Hign SNEAKERS are made of denim, glossy or suede leather lined with cotton and a leather sole
with a Vibram rubber.

- The CRUISING BAG is made of three rings of leather, wool, cotton gabardine or denim as desired.

- The wool CAP and LEATHER HAT accessorize these elegant casual outfits.

- The revisited FIREFIGHTER COAT supports a process increasingly used by the House: upcycling.
It is originally made from authentic French firemen's uniforms that have been reformed and have truly experienced the fire.
Each coat can go through a process of customisation pushed to the extreme.

100% FRENCH MANUFACTURING

The uniqueness of this collection lies in its manufacture: each piece is made in the brand's French factory.

Following the requirements of luxury codes, #chapal craftmen select the perfect skins

and one single person is responsible for sewing the entire piece from A to Z.

The tanning process is the true DNA of CHAPAL : an ancestral know-how since 1832.
