Stuttgart. Fans of good music and large-scale concert events will have to be patient for another year: the Concert Summer at the #mercedesbenz Museum has had to be postponed again because of the coronavirus pandemic. The new period scheduled is 7 to 10 July 2022. Good news for fans of Álvaro Soler and #sido: both these artists have been retained for the coming year. Álvaro Soler will be performing on Saturday, 9 July 2022 and #sido is coming to the big festival stage at the #mercedesbenz Museum on Sunday, 10 July 2022. The organisers, Chimperator Live, are currently negotiating with additional artists. The popular children’s and family day is now scheduled for Sunday, 10 July 2022.

The performances were originally scheduled for the Concert Summer in 2020, and Sido’s concert was even sold out. Due to the fact that such major events were all banned, the music festival was initially rescheduled for July 2021 and, as a result of the continuing uncertain pandemic situation, the organisers, Chimperator Live, have now decided to postpone the event for another year.

Up-to-date information on the concert programme will also be available in good time on the website www.konzertsommer.com. Tickets already issued for Concert Summer 2020 remain fully valid for the rescheduled event and do not have to be exchanged. Alternatively, admission tickets can be returned to the issuing ticket offices.

The #mercedesbenz Concert Summer celebrated its premiere in 2017: previous highlights on stage included Freundeskreis (2017) and Clueso (2018). 2019 saw Andreas Bourani, Cro, Max Herre and Walk Off the Earth perform on the festival’s stage. In 2019, no fewer than 30,000 #people flocked to the music event and associated children’s and family day, which took place on the Sunday.
