Pit stops and donuts on two continents as Pierre Gasly blasts across the Bosphorus in his Scuderia AlphaTauri Formula 1 car

Pierre Gasly and his #astonmartinredbullracing colleague #alexalbon took to the streets of the transcontinental city of #istanbul, driving through the town and on the 15 July Martyrs Bridge. The event was a prelude to the long-awaited return of #f1 to Turkey, with Sunday's Formula 1 DHL #turkishgrandprix, and premium fashion brand AlphaTauri's launch in the country.
Providing a breathtaking background to the #f1 show was the Bosphorus Strait that separates Europe and Asia. #istanbul is one of few cities to be located on two continents and has played a prominent role on the route between east and west for centuries. Today, Pierre and Alex took two #f1 cars onto the 1,560m-long suspension bridge that crosses the strait, becoming the first drivers to perform a pit stop and donuts in one city across two continents.
This weekend's Grand Prix marks Scuderia AlphaTauri's first appearance in Turkey, while flying the colours of Red Bull's premium fashion brand, although it took part in six previous #turkishgrandprix between 2006 and 2011 under its former name of Scuderia Toro Rosso.
AlphaTauri has chosen this weekend to announce its debut in #istanbul, where the collection is now available at select Vakkorama Stores. With this entry into the Turkish market, AlphaTauri's collection is now available in almost 90 countries around the world.

After his experience on the streets of #istanbul, Pierre said, "Any time you have the possibility to drive a Formula 1 car at an iconic landmark is special.
