SICIS. Indipendent vision.

Comunicato Stampa disponibile solo in lingua originale.

Shanghai Penthouse. The world, electrifying and fast outside, inside opens up to new intuitions and new needs. The scenario in which we set social relationships, concrete spaces with a qualitative dimension. The home as a stage for important moments and everyday life.

The basic idea of #sicis, not casually, is to build reassuring environments, with a tangible sense of stability. At home as in life.

The whole is certainly scenographic but without a careful use of the materials, we cannot have such a result. Only in Italy we can find craftsmen like that to create certain products, the artistic mosaics, and such refined details.

In this project, entirely conceived and created by #sicis, the atmosphere of the place is a combination of tradition, fashion, comfort, to always feel at ease.

SICIS's intention is to give life to the physical and sensorial experiences of those who live in spaces, as happens when reading a book.

In the main living room, the scenic appeal is created by an artistic mosaic on the ceiling, depicting ferns, and a Vetrite tridimensional wall with a  rectangular shape, in a game of assonances between the geography of the place and the #design construction. The ambiance is completed by a system of assembled sofas, ottomans and tables from the Island line, freely inspired by the #design and architecture of the 70s.

The Dolium sofas, with removable fabric cover, are a mix of classic and contemporary, with attention to detail which is the peculiarity of the brand.

The Tape tables together with the Island poufs create a sinuous movement of full, empty, light and dark, which changes according to the function of the objects and the pattern of the Vetrite chosen as the table structure.

A reading room houses a couple of Jules leather armchairs with fabric backs that go well with the Blake bookcases and Ray tables. In the center, two Mars coffee tables in Vetrite form an asymmetrical circular top

Finally, the dining room is in a prospective vision between the relax areas and the outdoor terrace. The Osas table dominates the entire room, illuminated by the Drop ceiling lamp, in colored glass and metal.

The Island sideboard is the backdrop for a Vetrite wall, reminiscent of a painting by Piet Mondrian
