Stuttgart.  "You are wanted", the first original Amazon series to come completely from Germany, is celebrating its premiere today. From 17 March 2017 the thriller series will be available to Amazon customers in more than 200 countries at the same time. This is the biggest launch a German production series has ever experienced. #mercedesbenz is represented with several vehicles from the very first episode. For example, #matthiasschweighofer in his role as the young hotel manager and family father Lukas Franke drives a CClass Estate. A GClass and an EClass can be seen in subsidiary roles. These are used by the state criminal investigators and the mobile police squad to pursue the protagonists.

"You are wanted" was not only directed by #matthiasschweighofer besides Bernhard Jasper and produced together with Warner Bros., he also plays the lead role. Other members of the cast include Alexandra Maria Lara, Karoline Herfurth, Tom Beck and Kathrin Bauerfeind. #mercedesbenz is supporting the premiere celebration in Berlin with an exclusive shuttle service for VIP guests. 

About "You are wanted"

Lukas Franke (Matthias Schweighöfer) is a senior hotel manager and loving father. A hacker attack threatens to destroy his career and private life. His digital identity is falsified, and he is even suspected of terrorism. Soon not only he, but also his wife Hanna (Alexandra Maria Lara) and their child are in danger. When attempting to find the hacker while protecting his family, Lukas meets the female journalist Lena (Karoline Herfurth), who is also being threatened by the same hacker. They take up the chase together. When the case seems to be resolving itself, everything suddenly changes and Lukas has to ask himself who he can trust at all.

The series was filmed in Berlin and Brandenburg. It was produced by Schweighöfer's PANTALEON Films GmbH, Warner Bros. Entertainment GmbH
and Warner Bros. International Television Production Deutschland GmbH.
