Dr. #uwethomas hands over to Manfred Baden

Effective February 1, 2017, Manfred Baden (54) will be assuming the leadership of #bosch Automotive Aftermarket in Karlsruhe, Germany. Thomas has been president of Bosch’s aftermarket business since July 2013. “Over the past few years, Dr. #uwethomas has played a major part in helping to make #bosch Automotive Aftermarket a supplier of mobility services. The same goes for making the division more international. Baden has been with #bosch since 1996. During this time, he has held various positions within the company, also in the Automotive Aftermarket division. Before becoming president of Robert #bosch Car Multimedia GmbH, Baden was a member of the executive #management of the Electrical Drives division.

Baden’s successor at Robert #bosch Car Multimedia GmbH will be Dr. Steffen Berns (53). An engineering graduate, Berns is currently president of the #bosch Group in India and managing director of #bosch Limited, Bengaluru. His successor will be Soumitra Bhattacharya (56), who has up to now been a member of the executive #management of #bosch Limited.
