INTERMOT Customized presents the custom bike show at the Harley Dome Cologne

Outstanding bikes will gain immediate qualification for the AMD Championship of #custom Bike Building at #intermot CologneAt #intermot, from 5 to 9 October 2016, the customizing scene will also be coupled with this leading fair as a standalone "show-within-a-show" segment for the first time. In addition to the V2 #custom scene, the new wave #custom scene of café racers and modern adaptations will also be showcased. Furthermore, a central element of #intermotcustomized will be the AMD Championship of #custom Bike Building. Here the "who's who" of customizers will be present with some spectacular models. The world championship focuses mainly on the category of V2-customs, but also addresses the new #custom scene with the category of café racers. A great opportunity awaits creative customizers who would like to take part in the AMD Championship of #custom Bike Building. The #custom bike show at the #harleydome #cologne on 18 and 19 June 2016 is also a qualification competition for the World Championship in October during #intermot. The three best bikes will then be able to present themselves to a large audience.
The new home of the #harleydome #cologne is located along the more than one kilometre long Alfred-Schütte-Allee on the banks of the river Rhine. Here thousands of Harley Davidson fans, motorcycle enthusiasts, families and adventure seekers, all granted free entry, will stroll and cruise along the asphalt of the Deutz Industrial Harbour during the weekend of 18 and 19 June. At this third edition of the spectacle, everything again revolves around heavy machines and the outlook on life associated with them: freedom, individuality and non-conformism. Equally spectacular as the many thousands of motorbikes on tour will be the legendary #custom Bike Show, presented by #intermotcustomized. Under the direction of Frank "Thunder" Sander and Volker Wolf, prizes will be awarded in seven categories as well as a trophy for Best of Show and "Best of Biker Voting" (audience award). The three most outstanding bikes will qualify immediately for the AMD Championship of #custom Bike Building, taking place at the #intermot fair in October in #cologne. #intermot will be present at the #harleydome #cologne with a photo #event and an information stand.
Customizing is now a massive trend in the motorcycle industry and accordingly an ever-increasing business sector. In addition to international business, #intermotcustomized will offer professional expertise on site as a stable feature of the supporting programme. The customized stage with expert talks, interviews and music will be at the heart of #intermotcustomized. The "Garage Area," an open workshop for live modifications, which was first introduced at the 2014 #event, will likewise become more centre-stage, to create more room for even more modifications.

From 5 to 9 October 2016, the latest motorcycles, scooters, e-bikes as well as the most important developments in electric mobility, accessories, clothing, parts, customizing, tourism and workshop equipment will be showcased on the Koelnmesse exhibition grounds. #intermot #cologne extends over approximately 110,000 square metres of exhibition space as well as around 80,000 square metres of outdoor area. While 5 October 2016 is still reserved for business and intensive meetings and discussions for the trade, from 6 October 2016, motorcycle fans can discover the highlights and premieres of the world of motorised two-wheelers.
