Armare at Monaco Yacht Show 2015
With a family tradition of over 200 years of history in the production of ropes, #armare is today one of the
leading companies in the sector of nautical ropes, offering a complete range of technologically advanced
products. #armare is focused on the Marine Sector, which is characterized by a wide range of high qualities
products like ropes, cables, accessories and facilities, in particular dedicated to Sailing Boats and Super
Yachts.
For the mooring of Motor Boats, especially of big dimensions, #armare suggest the new Storm Line Plus, a
rope realized with a core of Dyneema® and a cover in Polyester H.T., strong and tenacious.
This rope allows the crews of the Super #yacht a drastic reduction in weight of the mooring ropes, facilitating
the steps of anchoring and of stowage of the ropes. Storm Line Plus is flexible and light, always soft and easy
to handle, even in large diameters, because it doesn’t stiff even if it is used in the sea water. It is easy to splice
and can be finished with leather protection. To give even more prestige and elegance to your mooring lines,
it is possible to customize the leather finishing with an embroidered logo/name of the boat.
For long mooring and towing lines, #armare advises Secur Line, a balanced twist 8 strand braid made with
100% Dyneema® and PU Coating. Thanks to its construction, it guarantees lightness, floating, high breaking
loads and an important decrease of the diameters used. The result is a significant reduction in the overall
weight of the rope. It is available in three colours (silver grey, hemp and yellow), it ensures high visibility,
abrasion resistance and low water absorption.
