Racing weekend at the Nürburgring for the German ADAC F4 Abarth Championship

  • The fifth round's three races of the German challenge that are scheduled between Saturday and Sunday will be surely spectacular
  • Swede Eriksson is the current leader of the classification, followed by Australian Mawson and German Dienst
  • Two races will start on Saturday August 15th and the third one on Sunday August 16th

Even during mid-August continues the season of the German ADAC F4 #abarth Championship. The fifth round of the 2015 season is scheduled, this weekend, at the Nürburgring.



There are 38 drivers competing in the German series, which includes a large international presence. It's a championship that is highlighting the Swede frontrunner Joel Eriksson and Australian driver Joey Mawson, separated in the overall standings by just four points. Third overall is German talent Marvin Dienst



In the German ADAC F4 #abarth Championship race even some children of famous drivers, included in the category reserved for newcomers. German Mike Ortmann is the current leader, followed by Jonathan Cecotto. Mick Schumacher occupies the 6th place, after his victory in his debut event at the Oschersleben race track.



At the Nürburgring it will certainly be on the top of the spot the Tatuus single seater cars, powered by the #abarth T-Jet engine, (delivering a power of 160 hp), also in relation to the layout of this circuit that hosted Formula 1 races since 1985.



The weekend program includes two free practice sessions tomorrow, Friday August 14th, at 10.20am and at 12.50pm, plus two qualifying sessions (5.15pm and 5.40pm). Saturday August 15th, there will be two races, at noon and at 4.45pm. On Sunday is held the third and final race at 3.35 pm.
