From July 14 to July 19, 2015 the first week of Michelangelo will be held, with a program of events, of lectio and exhibitions, multimedia shows and urban performances, dedicated to the great Florentine artist. Week - sponsored by the City of Florence and the Central Market of Florence, in collaboration with Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities - Former Superintendence for the Historic , Artistic and Ethno-anthropological and the State Museums of Florence, Opera Laurentian, Academy of Art and Design, Mus.e Association, Department of Culture of the Municipality of Carrara, Liceo Galileo Florence - will take place mainly at the Basilica of San Lorenzo. Other places will be involved also like Piazza Santa Croce, Piazza Signoria, Museo Casa Martelli.
