Thesaurus by Fabio Carnaghi is a journey of discovery for the imagined space of the Roman Baths of Como.
Lorenza Boisi, Tamara Ferioli, Robert Gschwantner, Francesca Ferreri, Eva Hide, Dacia Manto, Massimiliano Pelletti, Eva Reguzzoni, Andrea Salvatori, TTozoi, Devis Venturelli explore the sense of discovery by presenting the results of different contemporary surveys.
The archaeological excavation returned to a collective use provides an opportunity to tell the time of its discovery in the primitive stage, in the instant of discovery. The unveiling is the primary act that is a suspension of time between the history and the future.
The treasure has been entrusted to the earth, it becomes a part, it is kept as a seed accidentally or deliberately placed to be found when maybe the time will come. The exhibition documents the suspension in the state of the recovery when the finding is no longer a layer with the land but has not yet started its second life, away from the didactic theories.
