Moto3 - Gresini Racing Team Moto3, Bastianini and Locatelli excited for home race

The sixth round of the 2015 Moto3 World Championship sees Enea Bastianini and Andrea Locatelli set to race on home soil this weekend as Gresini Racing Team Moto3 travels to the legendary Mugello track for this season's first race event in Italy. Fresh from the second place finish at Le Mans thanks to a stunning comeback race, Bastianini will start his home race with 67 points in the overall standings, ready to fight again for the podium after having reached a good feeling with his Honda NSF250RW machine. His team mate Andrea Locatelli, who has just missed out on points in France, is confident that the Tuscan track will represent an opportunity to regain the good level of competitiveness shown in the first two Grands Prix of the season and thus return to fight for better positions. ENEA BASTIANINI "Mugello is a circuit as beautiful as difficult: last year, at my first experience with a fast bike, it took me a bit of time to find the right lines. In fact, the track is very wide and allows you to keep several lines. This year I will be able to count on greater experience: the aim is to start the weekend in a good way, keeping a good rhythm, then we'll try to get the maximum in the race. In Le Mans I found the right feeling with the bike, so I think we can fight once again for a podium finish: racing at home is always nice and exciting, we'll try to entertain the fans!". ANDREA LOCATELLI "We arrive at Mugello with a great motivation: it's a track I know very well and I think this race will represent the perfect occasion to regain the competitiveness shown in the first two Grands Prix of the season. I think that we have the potential to fight at the top, we only need to return to take the right direction in terms of chassis set-up. Last year I returned at Mugello after missing two races due to a wrist injury, but a gearbox problem didn't allow me to make a good race. I hope to have more luck this year”. FAUSTO GRESINI "Two weeks ago in Le Mans we did a great job: Bastianini raced really well and he was satisfied with the feeling he reached with his Honda, compared to the previous races. Therefore, at Mugello we just need to confirm this trend to find ourselves again fighting for the win. Locatelli went through a difficult time, but I think that already in France he has already showed a good sign of recovery: I'm convinced that the home race will help him to fight for the positions that he deserves".
