Mille Miglia - The punching 2015
Victoria Square is hosting the competitors of the Mille Miglia 2015: dozens of historic cars are doing the catwalk in front of hundreds of fans for the historic rite of Mille Miglia, the punching, a tradition that dates back to the early editions of the race when it was put a punch lead to seal the head cover of the engine, to avoid any changes after passing the technical checks. The first car arrived in the square around 17:00 after the catwalk in Piazza Loggia among the crowd: above them a scorching sun that greeted the arrival of the race in the historic city center. Technical check instead continued during all the day at the Fiera di Brescia: for competitors, pass through the exhibition hall is a very pleasing moment, often a pretext for meetings and exchanges of views on race that are going to face. " The Mille Miglia is something extraordinary" - declares Valerio Marinelli, the President of 1000 Miglia srl: the afternoon opening of the square has allowed many people to live punching moment with great enthusiasm." Tomorrow morning, punching will continue until the start of the first car from Viale Venezia which will take place at 14:30: in the morning, Joe Bastianich, the face of television and host of Masterchef Italy, is expected to be at the stand of 'Ubi Banco di Brescia'.
