Gresini Racing Team Moto3 - Unveil 2015 Livery at Jarez

The 2015 season of the Gresini Racing Team Moto3 officially kicked off today at Jerez de la Frontera, home of the final pre-season test: the Faenza squad unveiled the livery of the two Honda NSF250RW machines that will be ridden in the 2015 Moto3 World Championship in by the all-Italian duo composed by Enea Bastianini and Andrea Locatelli.

Rookie of the Year in 2014, Enea Bastianini is willing to play a starring role in the championship which will begin next March 29th in Qatar: the 17-year-old rider from Rimini, who started to get acquainted with his new bike already last November in Valencia and in the two winter testing sessions carried out in February, will take advantage of the last three days of testing scheduled in Spain from today until March 19th to continue to refine the set-up of his Honda with the team and HRC engineers.

Alongside Enea there will be Andrea Locatelli, who will take part in his second season in the World Championship. The 18-year-old rider from Selvino, 2013 Moto3 Italian Champion, is keen to continue the positive growth shown thoughout the February tests aboard his Honda NSF250RW and further close the gap with the fastest riders ahead of the first event in Qatar.

FAUSTO GRESINI
"I am proud to be able to continue our important project in Moto3 and to line-up again the at the start of the World Championship two young Italian talents. Obviously, we have great expectations on Enea Bastianini, the great revelation of last year's campaign, in which he won the Rookie of the Year trophy. Enea is still very young and in this season he will have more responsibility on his shoulders compared to last year, but I think that there are all the ingredients to fight for top positions: we built the team around him and we can count on the bike that won the 2014 World Championship. I also believe a lot in Andrea Locatelli, who after joining our team immediately showed great enthusiasm and a great desire to succeed: I really like the positive approach of this guy: an attitude that I consider essential to achieve big goals. Andrea is back from a complicated season, but I am convinced that in our team he will have a chance to show his real potential. The Honda NSF250RW has proved to be the most successful bike in 2014, so I believe that we couldn't make a better choice for this season. As always, HRC proved to achieve excellent results when they put a great effort in a project. Now we want to take advantage of these last three days of testing in Jerez, to allow the riders and the team to take even more confidence with the bike, then we will move to Qatar for the first race. We look forward to battle with our rivals in a Championship that promises to be extremely fought and in which we can certainly have our say".
