Mitas unveil new scooter racing tyre at EICMA 2014

As part of its world premiere, Mitas will display the new scooter racing tyre MC 35 S-RACER 2.0 at the 100th international motorcycle exhibition EICMA, held in Milano, Italy. Mitas will unveil also its new C-25 (front) and C-24 (rear) tyres for use on extra-soft and muddy terrains and the C-27 (front) and C-26 (rear) tyres for use on extra-hard and rocky terrains. All innovations will be displayed at Mitas stand, C81, in hall 10 of EICMA fair ground from 4th November.

“Mitas Moto has undertaken several projects this year to bring new products to customers. Through our innovations, we aim to strengthen Mitas' position, especially on the off-road market,” said Ksenija Bitenc, managing director for Mitas Moto. “In the motocross range, Mitas has several new products that will fulfil the expectations of different riders in the motocross world.”

Mitas will unveil a new scooter racing tyre MC 35 S-RACER 2.0 – a successor to the successful MC 31 S-RACER tread pattern. The tyre construction and shape maximize contact patch at extreme lean angles. Tests showed superb braking and acceleration performance, improved stability and behaviour during cornering owing to the perfected tyre shape providing a more precise steering and faster changes of directions when making turns.
