The fight has been very hard during the first race in Tuscany of the Trofeo Abarth Selenia Europe and the National ACI / CSAI Abarth Selenia Trophy Italy at the Mugello circuit.

After a magnificent duel between Alex Campani and Niklas Lilja, both driving an Abarth 695 Assetto Corse Evoluzione, the Swedish triumphed again, maintaining the top position in both championships. After the start, poleman Emanuele Moncini firmly kept the lead.

But immediately after Lilja surprised him at the San Donato curve.

The battle between the two frontrunners continued during several laps, until the second part of the race.

Lilja took the first position and won with a short advantage: less than half a second.

The first 6 rounds were the most interesting, thanks to the exciting climbing of Alex Campani, which started from the 5th position on the grid.

Alex overtook Moncini and Maurizio Campani easily and tried to develop his pursuit of the two leaders, finishing third overall.

Among the Abarth 500 Assetto Corse, Emanuele Cimarelli maintained throughout the race the 12th position overall and the 1st position of his class. During the last minutes, Cimarelli placed himself in the 11th position, as he undertook Swedish racer Jusso Pajuranta.
