Riva 1920 at Salone del Mobile 2014

This year for the Salone del Mobile, Riva1920 wants to astonish everybody with this maxi-display, an artpiece by Karim Rashid.

It is an extra large “head” realized in solid walnut, from reforestation (sizes: 3 meters in height, 2,40 meters in length and 2 meters in depth for a total weight of 7.000 kilos)

For this project we have used the wood off-cuts for a total volume of 30 cubic meters, manufactured and assembled with vinyl glues without formaldehyde (not harmful for the human beings).

The finish is in natural oiled.

The omni-directional profile represents our universe of selves - global, multicultural, creative, wired, and on a journey for love and intelligence.
