Pininfarina signs its first religious architecture project

The Private Chapel “Madonna della Stella” of the Perrella Family,designed by Pininfarina in Riardo, stands in a vast hilly area covered by woodland. In order to guarantee the respect and integration in the environment the exterior architecture is inspired by the shapes of surrounding nature: it has a curving line that rises gently from the main entrance, becoming vertical in the bell-tower, suggesting the outline of a mountain, while they glorify the tension upwards. The external shell in titanium enhances the brightness making it a light-filled sculpture that blends perfectly into nature.
