Cassina awarded the Wallpaper Design Award 2012 for the LC1 Outdoor armchair

11th January 2012. The LC1 Outdoor armchair, the icon of modern rationalism adapted for
outdoor use, has been awarded Best Domestic Design by the prestigious international
magazine Wallpaper.
For the first time masterworks from the Modern Movement have been developed by Cassina,
creating an innovative interpretation for the brand’s new Outdoor Collection. Following indepth
research, Cassina has sought to update the materials and construction details of the products
in order to maximise resistance to water, humidity and heat in extreme outdoor conditions.
