Actiu launches Globb by Stone Designs, which evokes the movements of balloon twisting.

Globb by Stone Designs for Actiu is a programme inspired by balloon modeling techniques. A proposal that makes it possible to obtain creative pieces adaptable to the different environments and areas found in real equipment projects.

Globb is the result of a cooperative relationship between Stone Designs and Actiu that began a few years ago with the Bend collection and now goes a step further with this modular system that combines different backrests to fit into any environment.

"The Globb collection encapsulates the organic essence and sinuous lines of an elongated globe and its seats combine to form creative combinations. An emphatic, very organic collection with no sharp edges or defined limits. It is freely arranged at any angle you wish. It is a growing family with a very close, functional and playful character", says Cutu Mazuelos, designer of Stone Designs.

Globb consists of a programme of three references with differentiated dimensions, which are offered with and without backrest. They consist of a 20 mm diameter steel tube structure that embraces the perimeter of each cushion at the bottom, giving it a singularity that gives character to each piece by simulating the sponginess of a balloon on which the structure presses.

The programme is completed with side tables that maintain the same design code, configured with the same structure section and two tabletops that provide full functionality to the programme.
