Last dance of 2023 for the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team in Jerez

After 11 passion-packed weekends, the World Supersport Championship season draws to a close, with the final round scheduled for this weekend at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit, which has been added to the calendar to replace the San Juan round. For the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team it is therefore one last chance to gain points and satisfaction.

Joining the team five rounds to the end of the season, Lorenzo Dalla Porta has so far finished in the top ten in four rounds, with a 6th place as his best result, and is now looking for further improvement. The Tuscan rider has in fact shown signs of growth race after race, and aims to capitalize on his potential between the kerbs of the Andalusian track.

The Jerez weekend will begin as usual on Friday, with the first two free practice sessions. On Saturday it will be time for Superpole and Race 1, which will be staged earlier than usual, while on Sunday Race 2 will complete the program of the last round of the 2023 season.

Lorenzo Dalla Porta:
"I am a little bit sorry to have reached the last round of the season, as continuing to race would have allowed us to make further progress, but now it's better to concentrate on Jerez. It's a track I like, where I think I can be fast, obviously also thanks to the excellent work of the team. Let's have fun!".

Fabio Evangelista: (Team Principal):
"We have reached the last round of the season. Lorenzo since the beginning has shown a great desire to learn and improve, as some results have shown. Now we want to end on a high note at Jerez, a track where we will certainly have the potential to shine".
