Less than a month after the injury, Celestino Vietti goes for it!

10-hour time difference, the farthest race in the world. This is the calling card of the sixteenth round of the MotoGP, the Australian GP. It is run at the Phillip Island circuit, one of the most fascinating for layout and scenography and a calendar staple since 1997.

Celestino Vietti gives it a go. Less than a month after his fractured pelvis, the Piedmontese rider will get back on the Fantic Racing bike after missing two races that would have been important, not only for his position in the standings but also to seal his return to the top after the victory in Austria and the podium at Misano.

Mattia Casadei is also confirmed in the Fantic Racing box for an all-Italian duo. The MotoE world champion is eager to improve his performance on the Moto2 bike.

Celestino Vietti: "Finally! Staying at home and watching others race is brutal. I'm still not at 100% of my physical condition, but I'm better now. I hope to ride without too many problems because I like the track, and it's nice to race at Phillip Island. Then we also hope for the weather because it can be an unknown factor. But in the meantime, I'm happy to be here and to see the team again."

Mattia Casadei: "I am happy to race at Phillip Island. It's a circuit I've never seen, but it's very famous for the taste of racing there. As for me, I am getting more confidence and trust in the bike. I can only thank Fantic for their work and for giving me this opportunity!"
