A successful first participation in Watches and Wonders Geneva 2023 for Frederique Constant and Alpina Watches
2023 marked the first participation of #frederiqueconstant and #alpinawatches in the internationally renowned watchmaking fair Watches and Wonders Geneva, which ended up on a very positive note, exceeding all expectations for both brands. During the week, #frederiqueconstant and #alpinawatches welcomed journalists, retailers but also the public from all around the world to present them their latest novelties highlighting their respectively 35th and 140th anniversaries.
From March 27th to April 2nd, 2023, #frederiqueconstant and #alpinawatches – part of the #frederiqueconstant Group belonging to the Japanese Citizen Group – participated in the largest international watchmaking fair, Watches and Wonders Geneva, which brought together more than 43,000 unique visitors over the whole week, 5,400 retailers, 125 nationalities, 1400 journalists, and the public during the weekend.
A first participation beyond expectations
Located at La Place, opposite the Carré des Horlogers, #frederiqueconstant and its sister brand #alpinawatches shared a common booth. A warm and welcoming space to conduct meetings and discuss business, the #frederiqueconstant and #alpinawatches booth extended over 200 m2, allowing guests to discover both Maisons’ latest products in a friendly atmosphere.
For this first participation in Watches and Wonders Geneva, #frederiqueconstant and #alpinawatches are pleased to announce that the number of retail and press meetings exceeded their expectations. Demonstrating a definite and growing interest in both brands from all the watchmaking industry actors, #frederiqueconstant and #alpinawatches reaffirmed their positions amongst the big players. Both were even among the participating brands which counted the highest number of appointments during the #event. In addition, their product novelties have been very well received by the retailers, journalists and even the public, with an extremely positive feedback.
Keynote presentations
To celebrate this first participation in Watches and Wonders Geneva, both #frederiqueconstant and #alpinawatches held a Keynote presentation in the Auditorium, to take their audience on a journey to discover their history, milestones, and future projects.

Frederique Constant: the young innovative watchmaker
Frederique Constant reinforced its position as a young and innovative watchmaker capable of offering watches of remarkable quality, with a constantly increased degree of finishing, at a strong and valuable price positioning. Thanks to its dynamic and inventive spirit, but also its willingness to take up any challenge, #frederiqueconstant has been able to establish itself among the great names in watchmaking over the past 35 years.
The Brand was proud to highlight its new Classic Tourbillon Manufacture timepiece but also its Manufacture collection during Watches and Wonders Geneva, which now includes 30 in-house developed movements.
Alpina Watches: the inventor of the sports watch
As for #alpinawatches, Watches and Wonders Geneva was not only the opportunity for the Maison to introduce its new Alpiner Extreme Automatic and Regulator models, presenting a powerful design that has become one of the Brand’s flagship designs in just one year, but also to bring its rich 140-year history back on the spotlight, with the invention of the sports watch.
Indeed, in 1938, #alpinawatches set the standards of the modern sports watch with its Alpina 4 model gathering four essential features: anti-magnetic, anti-shock, water-resistant and made of stainless steel.
