The beauty universe at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2023


2,984 exhibitors (+11% compared to 2022, 35% new companies compared to the pre- pandemic period), from 64 countries, operators expected from almost 150 countries, 29 country pavilions: these are the numbers of the 54th edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, the B2B #event of reference for the cosmetics industry scheduled from 16 to 20 March 2023 in Bologna.

Delegations of buyers, retailers and distributors from the main emerging and mature markets, including North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania, will visit the fair in search of new proposals and distribution solutions. It is also with pleasure that we return to welcome companies and operators from China and Taiwan, who until a few months ago were prevented from leaving their respective countries. INTERNATIONAL STAKEHOLDERS AT #cosmoprof

Cosmoprof is a world-class showcase and the reference #event for launching new collections. Representing the event's international appeal are also the 29 country pavilions, with small and medium-sized companies from Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, California, China, South Korea, Ecuador, France, Great Britain, Germany, Japan, Greece, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine and the USA. New compared to the 2022 edition is the presence of Argentina, Australia, India and Romania, with Ireland present for the first time with its national body.

KOTRA Milano (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) in collaboration with IBITA (International #beauty Industry Trade Association) has been organising the Korean collective for more than 15 years, in pavilions 16A and 22B, and is present with more than one hundred of the most important and prestigious manufacturers in Korea who will present skin care and #beauty, hair, body, make-up and accessories products. "Cosmoprof Worldwide #bologna has been the reference #event for all companies and professionals in the cosmetics industry for more than 50 years, and represents a great opportunity to express our global offer, interact with an international audience, and get closer to thousands of customers," emphasises Jongah Hong, General Manager Kotra Milano. "Made in Korea cosmetics production is considered one of the most innovative in the world, a source of inspiration for many emerging trends in Western and Eastern markets, thanks to a combination of factors, including effective marketing strategies, product positioning in markets, natural ingredients and very competitive prices. Furthermore, thanks to the increased awareness of green cosmetics, companies will offer products based on natural ingredients, mainly herbs and mushrooms from the local tradition. The Spain pavilion with the 'Beauty from Spain' brand is participating in #cosmoprof, too. "The Spanish perfumery and cosmetics sector ranks among the top 10 exporters, with Spain being the world's second largest exporter of perfumes," points out Alfonso Janeiro Díez - Head of Fashion Accessories, Cosmetics and Perfumery Department. "For this reason, participation in #cosmoprof #bologna is a must-attend #event that allows our companies to increase the visibility of their brands globally, build relationships with new business partners, strengthen ties with their current customers, and discover the latest #beauty trends."
