Japanese Artist Yui Yaegashi Joins i8 Gallery
i8 Gallery is pleased to announce representation of Tokyo-based painter #yuiyaegashi. Yaegashi’s small-scale oil paintings are rooted in precision, with her distinct style of patterning resulting in reductive, layered works. Yaegashi’s compositions are carefully composed, with a focus on graphic lines, veiled strokes of color, and explorations of both symmetry and asymmetry. Yaegashi will have an exhibition of new works at the gallery in fall 2023; her first solo exhibition with i8 was in 2019.
