Design for a coffee shop! Ceramica Bardelli signs the first Faber Boutique in Caserta.

Among the many references of the Bardelli Group's #ceramica Bardelli brand is the recent Faber Boutique project – designed by Carmine Abate Architetto, it opened on the renowned shopping street of Via Mazzini, in Caserta. The tiles of the brand new Seletti 4 #ceramica Bardelli collection make this boutique café even more precious and fascinating. This collection represents a revolution in the world of decorative surfaces and highlights two Italian excellences: the technological innovation and formal and aesthetic research of the #ceramica Bardelli Group combined with Seletti's disruptive approach to interior #design.

The idea of creating a store – which will be the first of a series of launches located mainly in Europe – stems from the desire to allow #people to see the product up close and customize it down to the smallest detail. As a matter of fact, the choice of this type of venue immediately looked perfect to allocate each room a specific function. It is a series of three rooms. The first is dedicated to product demonstration. The most important high-end models are displayed on columns covered with black diamond tiles by Seletti 4 #ceramica Bardelli.

Almost sacred objects, on a black velvet backdrop, standing within the arches with a metaphysical feeling. A De Chirico on one side contrasting with Riccardo Bofil on the other. Or the sensation of a SquidGame. The staircase, clad in red diamond ceramic, creates an ironic game of intertwining ups and downs, on which rest the coffee machines of Faber's second line, in dozens of different colors.

The Seletti 4 #ceramica Bardelli collection was therefore chosen for the floor and wall covering of the columns on which the brand's most important models are displayed. The collection was born out of the encounter between Seletti's figurative #design and #ceramica Bardelli's expertise in ceramic products. The result is the capsule collection Tiles (R)evolution, which consists of floor and wall surfaces with high-impact designs conceived for the home, contract and hotellerie.

Seletti 4 #ceramica Bardelli's Diamond pattern was used for the wall tiles: a three-dimensional ceramic tile available with a polished finish, featuring an iconic diamond pattern that evokes retro aesthetics and vintage atmospheres.

The floor – Distortion reference by Seletti 4 #ceramica Bardelli – creates a three-dimensional, “zebra crossing on Abbey Road” effect.

Distortion is a porcelain tile-with a super-matte finish due to no-reflex glazes-that in its patterns and geometries reinterprets Seletti's iconic black-and-white pattern drawing inspiration from the imagery of Maurits Cornelis Escher and the paradoxical perspectives, hypnotic patterns, and perceptual short-circuits characteristic of his works.
