There is hope! Renowned solo survivalist, outdoor expert, and iconic television personality Les Stroud, of the legendary TV show Survivorman provides some help, but he can't actually save you. No, you have to do that all by yourself. 
 
Survivorman VR: The Descent, launching in early 2023 on Meta Quest 2 and PC VR headsets will pit you against the elements and extreme environments from the safety of your home — and it's now available to wishlist on Steam!
 
Developed by multimedia company Cream Productions — known for shows like A Ghost Ruined my Life with Eli Roth, Crypt TV's Trick-VR-Treat directed by Eli Roth, and the VR game Dark Threads with Dominic Monaghan— Survivorman VR: the Descent is a one-of-a-kind Virtual Reality experience that not only pits you against the deadly conditions of an extreme survival scenario. It teaches you everything you need to know about staying alive with the help of Les Stroud, who will accompany you throughout an authentic simulation only possible through the magic of virtual reality.

After narrowly avoiding catastrophe in a fiery helicopter crash, players will need to use all their wits to not only survive extreme environments but descend an imposing mountain to the point where they can be rescued. Utilizing their toolbox of skills and whatever items they can scavenge to complete challenges, players must navigate glacial crevasses, construct hunting traps, and most importantly, keep the fire burning!
