Kofler ends his adventure with CM Racing Team by taking his first points of the season
The collaboration between #maximiliankofler and the #cmracingteam ends in the best possible way, with the young Austrian rider able to collect his first points of the season, thanks to 14th place in Race 2.
Having finished the warm up in 18th position, in Race 2 Kofler again made a great start, with four positions recovered by the end of the first lap. The run-up of the young Austrian rider continued in the following laps, so much so that he was in the points zone at the halfway point of the race. Max's final race was also excellent, as he was able to administer and obtain 14th place overall, as well as his first two points in the #worldssp championship.
After the Portuguese weekend, the #cmracingteam will be back on track - together with new rider Luca Bernardi - from 21 to 23 October at the Argentinean circuit of San Juan, for the tenth round of the 2022 season.

Maximilian Kofler: "I'm happy with my race. I knew from the warm up that I had a good pace, thanks to which I was immediately able to recover positions and avoid getting involved in some contacts at the limit. The first championship points are a satisfaction".
Manuel Cappelletti (Team Director): "Max gave a great performance, which earned us our first championship points. He kept a good pace throughout the race, which was the key to achieving this result. I and the whole #cmracingteam wish him all the best as he continues his career, because he certainly deserves it".
