Laura Bosetti Tonatto, world-famous nose and refined creator of signature perfumes, is among the most awaited protagonists of the next Pitti Fragranze, staged from 16 to 18 September, with Laurabilia, a new line of seven essences that enhances beauty and the strength of natural elements as the first source of inspiration and the result of an incessant research aimed at purity and elegance.
On the occasion of the Florentine appointment which is confirmed as an unmissable observatory on contemporary olfactory culture, #laurabosettitonatto is also the narrator of a conference on the precious rose of Taif, whose flowering is jealously guarded to preserve its rarity. The creative wanted to dedicate this public story to the famous nose Guy Robert on the tenth anniversary of his death.
A supporter of the idea that only two ingredients are needed to create a fragrance, one of which must be the rose, Guy Robert was a great master of perfumery and passed on to #laurabosettitonatto the passion for this flower which is found in nature in many varieties.
The protagonist of the conference is the Rose of Taif that grows on the Saudi plateau, where during the day temperatures above 50 ° are recorded and at night they drop down to 20 °: the temperature range makes the flower unique and precious from which only 16 kilograms of essence are extracted every year with prices of 55 thousand euros per kg.
The fragrance couturier also launches the brand new H collection for the world of hôtellerie. Designed to respond with elegance, simplicity and responsibility to the increasingly urgent need to reuse objects and materials to reduce waste, it is a dispenser line that replaces the single-dose plastic and aluminum bottles of the hotel courtesy lines.
The containers made with 3D printing in a bio-plastic blend with an elegant ceramic effect allow savings of between 40 and 70% compared to traditional formats.
The Florentine #event is also an opportunity to reveal the new perfume Sergio, conceived as a tribute to the dancer Sergio Bernal, the sunny and gloomy protagonist of Daniele Cipriani's Les étoiles gala. The fragrance continues the project linked to the perfume series dedicated to the ballet repertoire and its protagonists, such as Black Swan and White Swan.
