- No. 1 Hyundai Elantra N TCR Extends Championship Lead
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., July 20, 2022 – It was a weekend of highs and lows for Hyundai at the #limerockpark120 race for the #imsamichelinpilotchallenge (IMPC) series. The fleet of Hyundai TCR race cars began the weekend by sweeping the first three rows of the grid in qualifying. #robertwickens and #markwilkins in the No. 33 Hyundai Elantra N TCR secured their first pole position of the season. After the 120-minute race, it was Michael Johnson and Stephen Simpson in the No. 54 Hyundai Elantra N TCR landing on the podium for the first time this season. #taylorhagler and #michaellewis in the No. 1 Hyundai Elantra N TCR extended their championship lead with a fifth-place finish.
