Cloudpunk Coming to PlayStation 5, August 19

Manchester, UK – 13th July, 2022: UK publisher #mergegames and developer ION LANDS are excited to reveal neon-noir exploration game, #cloudpunk is coming to #playstation 5 on 19th August, 2022, with physical versions available from 26th! Overhauled and optimised for the next generation, explore an immense cyberpunk city with all new features including Dualsense haptic feedback, higher fidelity visuals, and for the first time on consoles, Cockpit mode!
Nominated for Indie Game of the Year and Excellence in Art, Animation & Visual Achievement following its original launch back in 2020, #cloudpunk on the next generation offers players:
- Gameplay in 4k, running at 60 FPS
- Dualsense features – haptic feedback, controller speaker, adaptive triggers, lightbar
- Cockpit mode available for the first time on consoles
- PS5 activity cards
- Skyboxes for higher fidelity and resolution
- Increased draw distance, render distance and fog quality
- Improved volumetrics throughout
- Higher quality bloom for more realistic lighting effects
- Free upgrade for #playstation 4 players
Overhauled for optimised visuals and performance on #playstation 5, players can explore a neon metropolis in 4k at 60fps. Brought to life with greater volumetric lighting and find yourself lost in the depths of the city with increased rendering draw distance and fog quality.
More diffused, higher quality bloom gives a softer lighting effect against the dark streets, while higher resolution skyboxes provide increased fidelity.
Completing deliveries has never felt better with full Dualsense support, including haptic feedback on rain effects, adaptive triggers that kick in when your vehicle is damaged, and a lightbar reflecting your all-important fuel status.
And finally, explore with a brand-new perspective in the much awaited cockpit mode, putting you in the driving seat.
