The cold colors of Origami Steel to contrast the summer temperatures

The theory of color identifies blue, green, purple and the consequent shades of these as cold colors. They are distinguished from warm colors because they derive from the primary color blue, in which this is the predominant shade compared to yellow, for green, and compared to red, for purple. However, it is not enough to mix cold with hot to obtain a "cold" color: a measurement of the primary colors must be made, leaving the blue, the only primary cold color, to be quantitatively greater than the other two.

In Design, the use of cold colors is linked to a sphere and an aura that is sometimes apparently serious and professionalizing, also linked to responsibility, but it does not give up its creative streak and boasts a distinct elegance that some warm and passionate colors do not have. Cold colors can sometimes represent the night, the sea, water with its unconscious meanings, the pristine nature of large spaces. Proposing them for use in summer furnishings, as Origami Steel does, can indicate the best way to overcome unsustainable heat and break the dominance inside the home by inserting elements that refer to another season.

Origami Steel is applied in the field of creative decorative supports and hooks or magazine racks and pot holders that are inspired by nature by modeling metal, the mother raw material of all its inspirations. The shapes come to life by reproducing the Trees - as in Steel Tree, Heaven Tree, Fantasy Tree - natural leaves such as that of the Maple - Maple Leaf - and also robins, butterflies, flowers (the case of the Brackets).

But let us go and see more specifically which are the "cold" colors that, through painting, reach the desired colors.

Green: this color, as previously anticipated, is clearly in close proximity to the themes of nature and more today that we are talking about greeneconomy, greenbuilding and how it approaches the idea of sustainable design.

Sky Blue and Serenity Blue: these two colors can be understood clearly inspired by the soothing shades of the sky. Light blue is generally a color that is made up of blue and white. This relaxing shade featured in Origami Steel is similar to Light Denim and Cornflower. Sky Blue has a gradation that is around the shades of Cobalt Blue, and is close to Persian Blue due to the brightness it emanates.
