NARCISSUS can’t stand in a corner.
Narcissus is beautiful and doesn’t understand why he’s been put in a corner.
Narcissus lives in a strange world. If he hears voices he does not respond.
Narcissus feels the need to scream but there is no reason to.
He has everything he needs: he is loved, he is disputed, he is wanted, he is splendid, however, he does not know what love is.
He has a past, a present and a future, he lives eternally.
He looks around but only sees himself and falls in love with himself.
The mirror reflects Narcissus dressed in white with coloured decorations and foulard prints in ecru, gold, black and air force blue.
He intersects, embeds and engages designs, motifs, signs, curves and the rectilinear because strange things go through his mind.
He sometimes hides in a hoodie and sometimes flaunts a rockstar vision.
He wears damask and sequined shirts. He wears a crown on his head but nobody invites him to their party.
He spends his time drawing a t-shirt patchwork of two faces kissing. He inlays pea coats to “place flowers in our canons”, he assembles cut-outs, leftovers, small shreds of fabric abandoned for his beloved garments.
He embroiders, weaves, inserts, combines materials, fabrics, elements in agreement or disagreement to build his own treasure.
He has a lot of time, he is on his own, closed in a room.
His voice resounds with harmony and madness.
Narcissus doesn’t understand why they put him in a corner, all he asks is to fly.
It may be unusual for reality, but to Narcissus #people flyyyy.
