Gallotti&Radice: Salone del Mobile.Milano 2022

The Gallotti&Radice total living proposal is staged in Pavilion 5 in an exhibition space of over four hundred square meters where the living, dining, bedroom and home office areas interact in perfect harmony.

Among the significant structural elements are the black parquet, the Ceppo di Gré that embellishes the reception and the winter garden, the three-dimensional wall presented for the first time in his colored version and the inclusion of a soft, sinuous and delicate wallpaper by Wall&decò
designed by Draga&Aurel (new collaboration for the company). The tones of the architecture are the same as those found in the proposed fabrics where warm tones and a strong presence of blue prevail.

All the creations on the stand are the expression of a growing and continuous company
evolution, a concrete sign of a reality that loves to weave the know-how of ancient tradition
Italian craftsmanship with details of metropolitan contemporaneity, also declined in the upholstery, in the beds and in the increasingly intriguing lighting solutions. Each product is designed for interpreting a transversal taste that deletes the time line and boundaries.

The exhibition depicts an elegant narrative itinerary that welcomes iconic pieces of the brand flanked by unpublished proposals, the result of consolidated partnerships with internationally renowned de- signers: Massimo Castagna, Oscar and Gabriele Buratti, Dainelli Studio, Studiopepe, Federica Biasi,Pietro Russo and Pinuccio Borogonovo as well as new collaborations with Staffan Tollgard + Filippo Castellani and Draga&Aurel.

It is precisely of the latter that the Soda sideboard marks the debut of the collaboration between the company Italian and designers, famous all over the world for their unmistakable style, a combination of art, #design and craftsmanship. The project stems from an in-depth research on materials and, in particular, on glass processing. The latter is poured, texturized and pigmented with an ancient artisan technique, which allows for a wide range of colors and shades to be created. The beauty of this material suggested the circular shape of the cabinet, framed by a light wooden structure with essen- tial lines, on which the glass doors seem to rest like a work of art on easel of the artist.

Clean and essential geometric lines distinguish the new Key-to-Heaven lamp by
Massimo Castagna. As minimal as it is identifiable and personal, simple but strongly connotating, great for illuminating the volumes of a living room, alone or in aggregation between several elements.

In addition to the Key-to-Heaven lamps, the company also presents the new Bolle Verticale, a new project, also by Massimo Castagna, which pays homage to the iconic Bolle lamp reinterpreted in a ground-to-ceiling telescopic version.

Oscar and Gabriele Buratti present the Akiko Lounge armchairs that reinterpret the theme of
classic armchair with upholstered shell, highlighting an important stage presence. The work on the geometric essentiality of the circle is evident in the abundant padding that they are
deliberately in contrast to the extremely thin legs.

The material contrasts of marble and metal that underline the strong personality of the Oto Medium table, also by the Buratti brothers.

The stylistic evolution of Gallotti&Radice continues in the name of boundless tailoring with
new handcrafted finishes and new proposals of fabrics that envelop the atmospheres of living contemporary designed by the brand and presented in the frame of the Salone del Mobile.Milano.
