Planium Presents the New Metal-morphosis Collection from dOT - Design Outdoor Taste, Milan Design Week, 7/12 June 2022
The Art of Metal
Metal will be the protagonist in interpreting the “concept” of water chosen by dOT: the raw material of Planium's creations is in fact just as natural, in all its forms, facets and types. The ductility, the colors, the changing over time and in the environment of the metals and at the same time their strength, eternity, antiquity therefore speak of water in its liquid, solid, visual, sensorial and even tactile forms.
Metal-morphosis is the collection of a unique series of artistic plates in copper, brass, calamine, oxidized steel with infinite and sometimes indefinite colors, with textures in which inspirations, emotions, meanings converge: works of art.
The “Water” Concept and the Naturalness of Metal
As always, the event organized by dOT enhances the green themes of Italian #design on display at the Milanese Fuori Salone, illustrating the synthesis of the product creation processes.
With the theme "Water" it recounts experiences in the context of the contract, proposing "nature experience" solutions. Planium is a leading exhibitor inside the Cloister of the church of San Marco in the heart of Brera, the usual headquarters of dOT.
Founding principle of Life, a priceless asset that risks being endangered by pollution and uncontrolled production, water accompanies us lightly on a long path of unique achievements.
The movement, the overflow, the caress of the waves. The rippling surfaces of a stormy sea, the peaceful slide along a river bed, the precipitous fall of a waterfall, as the sand rises and the vegetation moves with the breath of the wind.
Design and Art are the protagonists, in a collective reflection, imperceptibly hypnotic and enveloping; you can let yourself be overwhelmed by the interpretation of waves and waves in a moment of absolute subjectivity.
Our raw material is just as natural, Metal, used in all its forms, facets, types. The name given to this collection wants to express what we know how to do: "transform" the material into creations. The ductility, the colors, the changing over time and in the environment of the metals and at the same time their strength, eternity, antiquity therefore interpret Water.
