Complicated start for CM Racing Team in Assen

First day of practice for the #cmracingteam among the kerbs of the historic #assen circuit, which is the stage for the second round of the Superport World Championship. Day 1 in the Netherlands did not particularly smile to the Roman team, with #maximiliankofler in 29th position in the combined classification of the two free practice sessions held during the day.

In the morning FP1 took place, where Kofler started to take the measures of the track, known in the past only with smaller displacement bikes. The young Austrian put in 16 laps, obtaining the 30th position but above all a lot of useful information.

In the afternoon it was time for FP2, with a slight increase in temperature, and Maximilian was able to improve his best time by more than one second, completing a total of 17 laps and obtaining the 29th position.

After the first day of action the #cmracingteam is ready to face the Dutch Saturday. At 10.25 it will be time for the Superpole, to establish the starting grid, while at 15.15 the lights will go out for race 1.

Maximilian Kofler: "Today I struggled quite a bit with both the bike and the track. We certainly have to work hard, in the hope of obtaining better results both in Superpole and in Race 1".

Manuel Cappelletti (Team Director): "It certainly wasn't the start we wanted. Max has to learn a lot of things and improve in order to move up the classification. We will try to put him in the best possible conditions”.
