The project presented at Miart 2022 compares the research of #christianmegert, #brunomunari and #nahumtevet who, from Modernism to the present day, have operated under the banner of deconstruction, fragmentation and multiplicity. Their work, with different characteristics for each artist, is doubled and multiplied in a multidisciplinary perspective, as in the case of Munari and Tevet. For Megert the work takes the form of compositions that, through the use of mirroring fragments, welcome the surrounding environment with its continuous transformation. These artists therefore show how the bifurcations of existences, of possibilities, of events are constant and unexpected, open to different, often divergent, worlds. Megert, Munari and Tevet have developed a widespread creativity, open to variations and confrontation, unstable as it is free, democratic and never authoritarian.

CHRISTIAN MEGERT (Bern, Switzerland, 1936) uses light like a laser that segments, cuts up and disturbs the picture space, to then spread through the environment and the perceptive dynamics of the viewers. Mirrors become the main means for multiplying multiple identities and for formulating in free and continuous freedom hypotheses of spatial modulation, in a perspective that is not limited to the form, but affects also the social sphere. In this way, elements of constructive complexity, they create movement through the reflection and dynamics of correspondences, also due to dissonances and perceptual variations that pose continuous challenges to logic, while constituting an irresistible enjoyment for the intelligence.
