Design spring/summer trends 2022
THE YEAR OF CHANGE IN THE #design WORLD
TREND BY NECESSITY
Our lives change, and consequently our home decor. After two years of living at home, our need and personal taste have changed. Our home now has several opposite functions, such as office area and resting place. Despite the gradual discontinuity, our lives are still at home.
When we thought of 2022, we thought of fun and functional trends, since our lives have changed overnight, and more and more we need to combat the monotony of our daily lives and bring functionality and adaptability, given today's times. Our home should be a reflection on ourselves, a place to create our own version of happiness and love. In this way, the trend should not be seen as one color or one style, it should be approached in a general view.
CURVILINEAR FURNITURE
Mid-century style is a style that never goes out of style, is perfectly adaptable, and is not a style that is completely closed to other suggestions. Mid Century style has also undergone some adaptations, such as the insertion of more curvilinear furniture. Despite being a style that has always been characterized by its straight lines, patterns, and textures, it doesn't prevent some more curvilinear pieces from being part of this style.
Curves give us the feeling of comfort, which is what we need most in our homes right now, given the increasing amount of time we spend in them. The freshness of the pieces, the diversity, the humor, are aspects that are currently highly valued, because they influence and mark our lives in a much more intense and noticeable way than a few years ago.
