Metzeler celebrates four world titles with Andrea Verona, Josep Garcia and two with the factory Beta rider, Brad Freeman. Albin Norrbin in the Youth class won both race days and his teammate Jed Etchell took Day One in the Junior class.

In the last GP of the 2021 season, held at Langeac in France, METZELER dominated in all major classes. Josep Garcia, Andrea Verona and Brad Freeman are the world champions after a season as protagonists. In France Jed Etchell wins and climbs on the podium in the Junior while Albin Norrbin dominates the Youth.

Langeac (France), 18th October 2021, The sixth and last round of the FIM Enduro World Championship took place in Langeac, a small village in the region of Haute-Loire a few kilometres from Le Puy-en-Velay where the next Six Days will be held. The Motoclub Haut-Allier has created a course with three special tests and a race in real traditional enduro style with extremely technical and fast special tests.

 

In the Enduro GP the official Beta rider Brad Freeman became world champion at the end of two very demanding days of competition and a season as a real star. METZELER celebrates in this season finale in France also the podiums of Josep Garcia, Gas Gas Factory Racing rider Andrea Verona and Steve Holcombe, Team Beta Factory Enduro.

 

Gas Gas Factory rider Andrea Verona is for the second consecutive time World Champion in the E1 class. Andrea Verona battled until Saturday with Davide Guarneri, Fantic Factory Team E/50 Racing, who eventually became E1 vice-champion.

 

Both METZELER riders are equipped with METZELER MCE 6 DAYS EXTREME.

 

In France, METZELER official rider Josep Garcia was crowned E2 world champion at the end of the first day of competition. Also in E2 METZELER dominated both days of racing with Steve Holcombe (Team Beta Factory Enduro) taking second place and Nathan Watson (Team Honda RedMoto) taking third place on Day 2.  

 

METZELER rider Brad Freeman was once again crowned E3 World Champion with a day to spare after a dominant season in which he won every day of the competition. In the Junior class Jed Etchell, Fantic Darpa Racing Team, took his first win of the season on Day One while on the following day he took third place.

 

The leading international tyre company METZELER, after celebrating the world title in the Youth by rider Albin Narrbin (Fantic Darpa Racing Team) in the previous GP, congratulates Harry Edmondson (Fantic JET Racing) for his second place finale and Kevin Cristino (Fantic Darpa Racing Team) for his third place finish in the Youth.

 

The FIM EnduroGP World Championship with the French GP closed the doors of this fabulous 2021 season.
