Ambassadors from all over the world visit the historic Maserati plant in Modena

Modena, 14 October 2021 – #maserati stands for the #excellence of Italian design and engineering worldwide, and the world has come to visit its historic #modena plant: today, the Trident Brand welcomed a large group of ambassadors accredited to Italy, representing various geographical areas, to the Viale Ciro Menotti factory, its home for over 80 years.

Maserati CEO Davide Grasso commented: “I am delighted to welcome you to our home, our historic plant. #maserati embodies all the intrinsic qualities of Italian #excellence, which we are proud to represent worldwide: passion, unique style and innovation. We are a global Brand that welcomes the world and looks to the future guided by the constant desire to innovate."

Maserati is at the peak of Italian design and engineering, and the historic plant on Viale Ciro Menotti is the jewel in our crown. The #modena factory is a magical location that combines the Brand’s “made in Italy” DNA and its heritage with an irrepressible drive towards the future: the plant has recently been modernised with new production, engine assembly and painting facilities specifically for the new MC20.

The Nettuno engine, the supercar’s ground-breaking V6 power unit, is the firstborn child of the #maserati Engine Lab, the new engine hub recently created within the #modena site, which has also, for the first time in its history, been equipped with a state-of-the-art, environment-friendly paintshop.

As well as the Apostolic Nuncio, the longest-serving member of the Diplomatic Corps and the Diplomatic Protocol of the Italian Republic, the event was attended by the diplomatic representatives of:

Arab League, Armenia, Austria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Colombia, Cuba, Denmark, EU Commission, Estonia, Ethiopia, Greece, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Japan, Kosovo, Latvia, Lebanon, Lesotho, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Nigeria, Panama, Philippines, Qatar, South Africa, Switzerland, Turkey, United States of America, Ukraine, Uruguay, Vietnam.
