RALLYE du MAROC - A preparation race for the SHERCO TVS FACTORY RALLY Team

The #rallyedumaroc is over. It was a good preparation race for the #sherco TVS Factory Rally team that lined up three motorcycles at the start of the race and all three were at the finish line.

This pre-Dakar test allowed the riders to learn, and reacclimate to the uniqueness of rally #racing and to accumulate a lot of good experience during the 5 days of the race which presented them with a demanding and varied route. The very high temperatures (45-50°C)(113-122°F) allowed the machines to be tested in the most extreme conditions and gave the mechanics the opportunity to work on and improve the performance of the motorcycles.

Today, the three 450 RTRs are at the finish line, and once again prove the reliability of #sherco engines and the efficiency of the entire team.

Lorenzo Santolino finished 15th. He was riding the new motorcycle; it took him some time to get used to the new machine and find his bearings. He turned in some good performances throughout the race with a 7th on stage 3, he is confident for the future.

Rui Goncalves was unlucky, he was the victim of a fuel problem and had a big crash on stage 4. He didn't give up, he kept picking off riders one by one, all the way to the finish line. He finished 18th.

Harith Noah had a great rally. He was solid on the bike, with very smooth handling, he finished 20th in the 2021 #rallyedumaroc.
