Metzeler celebrates the world title of Albin Norrbin in the Youth. Josep Garcia dominates in the Enduro GP and E2 class. Wonderful victories for Andrea Verona, and Brad Freeman in the E1 and E3 classes.

The Terra Unica GP of Portugal was held in Santiago do Cacém and METZELER dominated the penultimate GP of the season with Josep Garcia, Andrea Verona, Brad Freeman. In Portugal Albin Norrbin wins the world title in the Youth class with one race to spare. In the Junior class Roni Kytonen got on the podium.

Santiago do Cacém (Portugal), 11th October 2021 - The fifth and penultimate round of the FIM Enduro World Championship took place in Santiago do Cacém, a small village a few kilometres from Lisbon, and the Portuguese organisers created a challenging race with three rather fast, flat special tests on a single type of sandy terrain.

In the Enduro GP, KTM factory rider Josep Garcia was the fastest rider on both days of the race, with Beta Factory Enduro Team leader Brad Freeman close behind. Completing the all-METZELER podium was Gas Gas Factory Racing rider Andrea Verona on the opening day and cross rider Nathan Watson on Sunday (Team Honda RedMoto).

The official Gas Gas rider Andrea Verona won both days of racing, making him a strong candidate for the final victory in the E1 class. Davide Guarneri, Fantic Factory Team E/50 Racing tried very hard to win, but in Portugal he had to settle for two second places in his class. Both METZELER riders are equipped with METZELER MCE 6 DAYS EXTREME.

In Portugal, METZELER factory rider Josep Garcia literally dominated the E2 class, winning both days. The final podium on both days of racing was made up of METZELER riders, with Nathan Watson (Team Honda RedMoto) and Steve Holcombe (Team Beta Factory Enduro).

METZELER rider Brad Freeman also won the E3 class on both race days in Portugal. The official Beta rider is now increasingly the full points leader and is one step away from the world title.

In the Junior class Rony Kytonen (Team Honda RedMoto) returned after injury and immediately impressed. First position in the Junior on Day One and a third place on Sunday for the official Honda rider.

METZELER celebrates the world title in the Youth of the rider Albin Narrbin (Fantic Darpa Racing Team), touched last year and lost right at the last special and now in the hands of Fantic Darpa Racing Team that celebrates the deserved success.

The FIM EnduroGP World Championship will take place this weekend its last act in France.
