LEVC’s global expansion continues with launch of TX and VN5 in Israel
- World’s most advanced electric #taxi and new electric #van launch in Israel
- Powered by LEVC’s proven eCity technology, both vehicles offer zero emissions capability without any range-anxiety
- EV Motors is officially appointed as LEVC’s Israeli importer, further growing its international network and #green mobility footprint
Ansty, 09th August 2021: #levc (London Electric Vehicle Company) today announces further international expansion as it enters the Israeli market, appointing #ev Motors as its official importer. LEVC’s launch of the TX and VN5 in the region advances the company’s global #green footprint, with vehicles now available in countries such as Germany, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Spain, Netherlands, Japan, Egypt and now #israel.
With demand for sustainable mobility solutions rapidly increasing, #ev Motors has identified many target markets for LEVC’s products in #israel. Key use cases for the iconic TX #taxi include on hotel fleets for airport shuttle runs, zero emission operation by #taxi firms in urban areas and, thanks to its purpose-built accessibility, transportation in the healthcare sector. For the VN5 electric #van, demand is expected from businesses who need to deliver refrigerated food and medicine, as well as by utility fleets – such as water, gas and electricity companies.

Based in the city of Netanya, established in 2018, #ev Motors is the only #automotive importer in #israel that focuses solely on electric vehicles and #ev charging solutions. During the last few years, despite the global pandemic, #ev Motors has kept growing and developing the infrastructure necessary to successfully sell, service and operate commercial EVs. It operates 15 nation-wide service points that are dedicated to EVs and continues to help install charging facilities across the country. As a #green and sustainable supporter, the goal of #ev Motors is to support the transition from ICE vehicles to electric in #israel.

LEVC’s electric TX is the leading platform and solution for #green city transportation. Combining unrivalled comfort, practicality, and space for both driver and up to six passengers, all occupants can experience the next generation of sustainable travel. Housing LEVC’s eCity technology, the TX can be driven for 63 miles (101km) using pure electric power for true emission-free travel. Deploying its pioneering range-extending technology, a total range of 316 miles (510km*) is achievable.
The VN5 – LEVC’s new electric #van – shares the same lightweight aluminum construction as the TX, as well as its eCity technology. Also designed from the ground up to offer a highly capable, flexible and economical electric transportation platform, the VN5 can carry a gross payload of up to 830kg within a cargo space of 5.53. A class-leading turning circle of just 10.1m allows the VN5 to cope with any city environment. A pure #ev range of over 60 (98km) miles, and total range-extended capacity of 304 miles (489km)* further enhances the flexibility to accommodate any kind of journey.
